The Royal Navy is the United Kingdom’s naval warfare force as well as a peacetime resource, helping to ‘stabilise the seas’ and keep Britain’s trade interests moving.

Although English and Scottish Monarchs used naval warships from at least the 13th Century, the Royal Navy as we know it was officially formed in 1546.

From the middle of the 18th Century onwards and up until WW2 it became the most powerful navy in the world.

Though temporarily transformed into an anti-submarine force during the Cold War, the Royal Navy returned to expeditionary operations around the world and remains one of the world’s foremost blue-water Navy forces.

The Royal Navy also commands the Royal Marines and gives them the unique expeditionary capability to launch operations to any part of the globe.

Their unique offering and wide ranging roles across the British Armed Forces is reflected in their motto Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum which translated means If You Wish For Peace, Prepare For War.

Our stunning Royal Navy Collection features a range of cufflinks and lapel pins all beautifully engraved with the iconic Royal Navy Crown insignia. A perfect way to honour the career and service of a sailor or veteran.
