We design pens we love, with meticulous care and attention to detail. Our intent is to create something special, something that earns its place in your life over time. Pens that are quietly beautiful from the start, and increasingly difficult to part with as they age.
OUR JOURNEY
For over twenty-five years, we worked behind the scenes designing and making accessories for European luxury houses. Precision engineering combined with traditional craftsmanship. It’s an unusual pairing — but one that shaped how we work.
Thomas Slim is our way to connect directly with people who think as we do. Workshop to customer, with nothing in between.
We are not sure whether pens found us, or we found them. What drew us in was the balance: engineering and craftsmanship working quietly in service of something practical — something used every day.
Each pen begins its journey in our small London design studio in Borough. Throughout its journey, every choice is considered and must earn its place. It’s not magic — just relentless focus on every detail.
We have set ourselves a clear challenge: to make a pen you never want to replace. One that is used daily, trusted over time, and designed to endure.
