65 Degrees North

REHABILITATION THROUGH ADVENTURE

In 2014 a team gathered to support a former soldier, who lost his leg while serving in Afghanistan, achieve his dream of becoming the “World’s First Amputee to Cross the Greenland Ice Cap, Unsupported”.  This team became 65 Degrees North.

By changing the perception of physical and mental disability through the ‘Spirit of Adventure’, 65 Degrees North aim to inspire and motivate wounded, injured and sick (WIS) service personnel and Veterans to overcome their personal challenges and achieve their dreams.

Their Mission is to create a series of challenging and adventurous activities for carefully selected members of the WIS community, to prove to them that they are capable of much more than they realise, and to inspire them to pass on the benefits of their experiences to others.
We, at Thomas Slim, admire their work enormously and are very proud to be able to partner with 65 Degrees North to help raise funds to realise their vision.  A percentage of sales from every order is donated to the Charity – view the collection here to find out how you, too, can help.
